Description
Gold Bond® SoundBreak® XP® Fire-Shield® Gypsum Board consists of two pieces of high-density, mold-, mildew- and moisture-resistant gypsum board with PURPLE® paper facers, laminated together with a sound-damping viscoelastic polymer. It has a fire-resistant Type X gypsum core encased in 100% recycled paper on the face and back, and is designed for high-STC wall and ceiling assemblies. Dimensions: 5/8 in thick, 48 in wide, tapered edges, purple color. Complies with ASTM C1396 and ASTM C1766. Manufactured in Savannah, GA.
